Fuji Instant Film!
With our limited time remaining, we decided to shift gears a bit, and focus more on projects that can be completed in one or two class periods. Today, we learned a bit about the history of photograph, the mechanics of cameras, how to use light meters, etc.

Storyboarding
In the process of creating a video, film, animation, etc., one of the key steps is storyboarding. Think of it as a visual script that gives the cameraman a map of the shots necessary to tell the story. This week we introduced the idea of the storyboard, and began adapting our scripts to visual language, translating the stories we have into 2-dimensional space.

Fundred Dollar Bills, Ya'll!
Today in class we participated in The Fundred Dollar Bill Project (click the link for more information). Mel Chin, an internationally recognized artist, created this project to help remove the lead from the water supply in New Orleans. By asking for collaboration from students, teachers, artists, virtually anyone, the goal of the project is to collect 3,000,000 Fundreds, which he hopes to trade in for the estimated $300,000,000 it will take to clean up all the water in New Orleans.
