Stop Motion

Our aspiration for this semester is to create stop motion videos, using the characters we have been working on, as well as scripts the students are penning even now.

Here is an example of a stop motion video:

Students were divided into groups and began brainstorming ideas for their script. They will use this script to create their stop-motion videos using the Cubeecraft characters they have created already.

Cubee Craft - Day 2

Today the students continued working with the Cubees, honing their skills at cutting and folding the intricate tabs. The skill levels vary on each template, but here's an example of what they look like:


Students went onto the CubeeCraft website today and looked through the scores of characters to choose which ones they might want to use for their story ideas.



Next week the students will split into groups and begin story boarding and choosing additional characters to flesh out their films.

For the Spring session, students at the Genesis Academy are going to be creating their own stop motion movies based off of Cubee Craft characters. Day 1 involves getting to know the world of Cubee Craft.
